Global advertising spending for smartphone and mobile app installs is expected to reach $ 64 billion by 2020, according to Israeli data analytics firm AppsFlyer.
The number maintains the recent growth rate of 34% a year, reflecting in part the higher media cost, including paid campaigns. The estimate is based on statistical models and industry data, with a sample of 70,000 applications.
“There has been a steady growth in advertising investment (in the industry), and it appears that this will continue,” the survey said.
In one of the strongest application markets, North America, the growth of apps deployment spending is expected to double in 2020 to $ 12.9 billion.
