A student of the first class of Government School of Fullanwal village in Ludhiana district of Punjab died in civil hospital on Sunday morning. The family of the eight-year-old child says that his school teacher had beaten him with his arrogance. Bumpur Ram alias Guddu of Passi Nagar had complained to her family about her assault.
In a report, the English newspaper The Tribune quoted a member of Guddu’s family as saying, “On Saturday when Bindu returned from his school, he told his grandfather that his school teacher had beaten him brutally. She told that her school teacher slapped her face and ears. He had swelling on one of his hands and ears too. He was refusing to go to school. At that time he was refused After that, his health spoiled at night, after which he was taken to the hospital. In the morning, he died in the hospital. “In the report, Guddu’s dream of a flowing dream is written,” My brother told me that the teacher dragged his hair and dragged his ear so fast that he had to get his blood out of the ear felt.’
Police say that in the post-mortem report there is no trace of injury on the child’s body. However, for investigating the allegations, the forensic lab has been sent along with the sample of the child’s intestines. The police has started investigating the matter and the teacher will be called for inquiries.
Before this, a similar case was found in Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh, where a child was fed up with the punishment of the teacher and had consumed poison. After which he had died. The child also wrote a suicide note before drinking poison, in which he had written that he would tell my teacher not to give such punishment to any child.
